| John Warner holds two very fine brown trout he caught from his private fishing hole at the base of Sanger Peak in Northern California. Every year, John would take about six new friends to his fishing hole for a long weekend. Every year, he would catch six to eight of the beauties, but very seldom would anyone else catch any. No one ever learned his secret, but a lot of people tried. |
Elaine Law's first king salmon. It weighed in at just over 31 pounds. Elaine weighed in at just over 100 pounds. In its life-and-death struggle, the salmon fought the "good fight" for more than a half-hour, until it was conquered by the intrepid fisherwoman. Elaine was nearly as exhausted as the fish, but she was actually becoming hooked by the fishing bug. |
